Nephrology Outreach Program

The MCH. Pediatric Nephrology Division offers an Outreach Program to the physicians of the Province of Quebec for telephone consultation regarding specific patients or general nephrology questions. We presently receive about 10 calls per week from as far away as Saluit.  Most problems can be dealt with over the phone but, if not, arrangements are made for the patient to be seen in Montreal.

To reach us for a telephone consultation:

  • From 8h30 to 17h30: (514) 934-4400 and page Dr. Girardin.
  • For any emergency or to arrange transfer of a patient to our center, page the nephrologist on call: (514) 934-4400

The program already has an Outreach clinic in Sherbrooke once a month and hopes to expand to other areas of Quebec in the future.
